The e-Mentoring program gives students access to environmental professionals and community members who live and work in the Twin Cities and share locally relevant information to guide students through the Urban Stewards process. Eco Education matches volunteer e-mentors with each class to help expand the knowledge of environmental issues in the students’ communities and expose them to different careers in the environment. They correspond weekly through the ecoLOG, an interactive forum for students to practice online communication in a safe, monitored environment.
