URBAN UNDERSTORY

Using digital media to capture the stories of friends, family, and neighbors, the Urban Understory is both a stand alone program and an extension of the Urban Stewards program that helps students better understand the community they are a part of. Students get real world opportunities as they identify and address environmental issues in their communities. In-depth interviewing skills and technology trainings allow students to capture and retell the stories of members of their community through digital audio, video, and photography.
